Beacon Boats build slot available…..

Due to a cancellation, our boat builders, Beacon Boats, have an unexpected build slot available in 2012. If anyone is interested in having Beacon build a boat for them, please use the link here to browse their website.  Contact details are on the website also.

The slot would also be available for a refit.

Please note – they are fully booked for 2013 and the first half of 2014.

  1. If they really are fully booked, why don't they just move all their orders forward!

  2. Because the future build slots are at the customers requirements, like us, we booked our build slot 2 years ago, because we wanted the boat ready for when John retires, May this year.

  3. We sent Beacon a couple of enquiries when we were looking to have our boat built, but they never bothered to reply. Needless to say, we went elsewhere.

  4. James: We always reply to enquiry emails...even when they are people looking to hire a boat! (which we don't do) It's one of the things I make a point of, so how you slipped through the net I don't know. My apologies. Possible it went to spam which catches around 200 a day, so is hefty to trawl and sift through! If anyone else has the same issue please give us a quick ring or text even and I can have a thorough look through! I try to always reply within 24 hours (except christmas day)as customer service is one of the most important aspects of the business.
As Ali & John say, the future bookings are timed at the customers requirements according to their plans for house sales/retirement etc, a house sale issue being the reason for the date change of the slot that is now empty next year. Ali (Beacon)

  5. James - as Ali M says, they always try to respond to enquiries as soon as possible - there is another Beacon Boats somewhere, perhaps it was them you contacted!
