Frankton Junction to Ellesmere…

We made our way up to Frankton Locks quite early this morning, so Serenity and Windsong were first in the queue when the locks opened at 12 o’clock.  We sat in the warm sunshine and just chilled out for the morning – warm that is when the chilly breeze dropped.  At noon we made our way up the locks and turned back onto the Llangollen, heading back to Ellesmere, as we needed to replenish food and alcohol stocks at Tesco.  We are now moored just beyond the town.  The weather forecast is not good for tomorrow, so if we wake to rain, we’ll just go back to bed and stay where we are for the day.
