Just a very short trip today – we came up the 6 locks at Grindley Brook and then stopped to fill with water and empty loo cassettes at the top – our tank was pretty empty and the tap very slow, so it took ages to fill – it was almost 12 o’clock by the time we were ready to set off again. We cruised to just beyond Whitchurch, and by then the wind was getting very strong again, so we decided to call it a day and moor up. We are moored just beyond Bridge 35, just on from Blacknoe Cottages.
